POV: You Tried to Take a Quick Picture but Ended Up Taking 87
You wanted one photo. Your phone made a mini movie. Now you have 87 almost identical shots and 0 storage.
The finger that would not let go
You tap the camera once, right? Wrong. You tap, hold, slide, and now you are in burst mode like an action photographer. The subject blinked once. Your phone caught it 20 times.
- You feel like a wildlife pro, except it is just your sandwich.
- You ask, "Why is my phone clicking so much?"
- Congrats, you filmed a flipbook by accident.
Gallery roulette
You open Photos and see 87 thumbnails that look the same. Zoom in. One has a slightly better eyebrow. Another has less glare. Suddenly you care deeply about dust on the table.
- Every third photo is a blur of your thumb.
- The best one is photo 63, probably.
- You promise to delete extras later. You will not.
The delete workout
You start deleting: swipe left, swipe left, oh wait that one was cute, undo, panic, start over. Five minutes later you saved three photos and deleted two. Great pace.
- You fear deleting the one good shot, so you keep all 87.
- Storage warning pops up like a jump scare.
- You consider making a GIF of the whole burst. Chaos wins.
How to spin it
Call it a time-lapse. Post the funniest blur. Turn the rest into a meme. Next time, breathe, tap once, and step away from burst mode. Or do it again - at least your camera roll stays entertaining.
- Rename the album to "Accidental Cinema."
- Make a collage and pretend it was the plan.
- Take a screenshot of this advice and forget to delete it.
